I hope you all enjoyed your bank holiday weekend. We had a little expedition across the border to Annecy in France. It was lovely, and very picturesque.
I’ve also been enjoying…
A spot of knitting (should have something to show you in the next week or so)
This fantastic mushroom soup recipe from Run Quilt Knit Write.
Ice-cream from the fantastic gelateria in Nyon.
And organising my bakeware and tupperware (I know I’m sad but this really made me happy!).
Looks beautiful. Still enjoy your posts and am learning to crochet and sew! Your very guilty friend Joanna xxx
Absolutely beautiful Lizzy – hope Bea enjoyed it too!!
Looks beautiful Lizzy. Soup (pic on Helen’s website) looks great too… I’ve never made soup before but I’m going to give this one a try! x
Lovely photos LIzzy! And I’m so glad you enjoyed the soup!! Isn’t it nice to live in Europe and be able to make all these little foreign excursions!
What a beautiful place for an excursion. You have a very sweet blog here, thanks for visiting NM so I can say hello.
Thank you so much for the link to the mushroom soup. I can’t imagine how in the world I missed it on Helen’s blog. But i did. You saved me.
Also – a big thank you for sharing the pictures from your trip to France. Beautiful.
Gosh, a trip down memory lane! We used to go there with all our visitors when we lived in Geneva and it got to be a bit of a chore and “who’s taking this lot round, then?”, like it was with Chillon, too!! I’d love to go back again, now – the last time was 25 years ago when our eldest daughter was 2 and nearly fell into the Lac d’Annecy: my then-BF-now-hubby caught her by her ankle as she went in…
